No audio playback in voice over or log&capture

This has to be one of those weird, deep setting and I feel like I've looked everywhere. I get audio playback in the timeline and in the clip window but NOT in Log and Capture nor in Voice Over, which is totally annoying. I do get a level in voice over and I'm able to hear the clip afte it's recorded, but not during or before. Nothing, ever, in L&C.

All settings to Built-in Audio.

Nope you are correct!

You won't get ANY playback during VO at all. You'll need a mixer for that. Get one too... big help.

For log and capture... are you talking about logging or capturing? Logging you should, but capturing you won't either. HOWEVER -- you can change THAT setting in the capture preference tab and under audio check the ON - DURING CAPTURE.

Or something like that.

if you had playback during voiceover, you'd most likely find yourself listening to a very unpleasant feedback loop.

in the l&c window, choose the "capture settings" tab. then find the little box that says "preview" and check it. that should sort you. actually, i think the tab is "clip settings."
