Nip/Tuck

I know it is not a film, but this has become the only television show I watch. While this season has sort of sucked, I still think it is by far the best written, acted, and shot show on television.

Does anyone else watch this?

Occasionally. I enjoy it, my only beef with it is that they started out and every week seemed like a crisis. At times you can hear the strings of the writers being too clever in the lines of each character. I thought it would burn out long ago but it seems to have settled into a comfortable groove and the characters are deepening. It's enjoyable, but not as good as Rome.

I never got into Rome (might try to pick up on it on HBO On Demand), but with Nip / Tuck the first two seasons were incredible and in my opinion because the best show I've seen on TV. This season has sort of dried up a bit, too many story lines going on, some of which are left up in the air and not brought back up for several weeks. I still think it's the best show I've ever seen though... next week's season finale should be incredible.

I ADORE Nip/Tuck. I dont ever watch TV except for when i turn mine on to watch films. My fiance was watching something on FX and i wasnt paying attention and i hear her yell "HOLY SHEEEITEEEE!!!" and i was like what is it as i run in the room. she points to the TV and from then on ive been hooked from women fused to chairs to men superglued to other mens asses to criminals smuggling heroin in women's breast implants. What an amazing show.

Anyone else come back for this season? The premiere episode was brilliant and picks up right where the characters left off... I still say, second to The Sopranos (and maybe behind Entourage) this is the best show on TV.

I really like the show. I think FX has some if not the best programming on cable. With Nip Tuck, Rescue Me, Always sunny, I kind of lost it in the second season but I agree the premiere was really good. There was allot of things right up front. And by the looks of what is to come it should be a really good season. Set it up really well. I saw an interview the writer/director. He said something happens at the end of the season and he would be happy for it the show to end there. He make mention that the studio wont but he thinks it is the perfect ending. Did you guys see the preview for his new movie running with scissors. It looks really good kind of like a what Wes Anderson would Do

I love the surgery montages, the editing and music choices are usually excellent. Also the scene where they had to re-qualify as surgeons and the head starts giving him advice on how to be Kervorkian...trippy.
