Ninja Blade DNxHD doesn't work in CS6 or Vegas? What can I do?

[firehawk]

I have been testing my Ninja Blade and the various ProRes (HQ,422,Lt) files will import into Premiere CS6 and Vegas 12. But the DNxHD (36,145,220) files will not. The audio will in Vegas but premiere rejects it.
This is a surprise as I was expecting problems with the Apple proRes codec on my windows 7 system not the other way around
What can I do to be able to use DNxHD?

Have you downloaded the DNxHD codecs from Avid?
I think this is the website: http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/en_US/download/en423319

Awesome! Thank you very much, Trotter!

DNx support wasn't built into PP until a later version.
