Nikon/Zykkor Question

I just bought an SGPro and two Nikon lenses from a guy here in Phoenix. The lenses are a 35mm f1.4 and an 85mm f1.4. I've spent the past few days shooting boatloads of footage and trying to get a handle on the capabilities of this setup....I'm using it on my HVX-200. So far I'm absolutely loving it!

Well I was digging through my closet and found an old Minolta XG-1 camera that's been in the family for a while. In the camera case was a 135mm lens. I pulled it out and thought, "COOL I'll put this on the SGPro and see what happens". Well the mount isn't the same so it wouldn't connect to the SGPro, but as I held it firmly against the unit the image quality looked really good (Oh, I'm monitoring through a camera mount HD monitor).

So here's my question: Can I get an adapter that will allow this Zykkor lens to mount up to the SGPro?

And my followup question: Would I even WANT to be able to use this lens if I could get it mounted? If not, why exactly.

Here's the writing from the barrel of the lens:
ZYKKOR MC Auto 1:28 f=135mm No. 821214 52o

As I've mentioned I'm new to the SGPro, and I really don't know much at all about the lens options that are available. But I DO know the images I've been getting past few days is killer!!

Any help from you long time 35mm Adapter guys would be much appreciated.

Hi!

Tele 135 f2.8 lenses are cheap; you would be better to buy Nikon fit lens.

Of course you can get also MD mount for SGpro but changing mounts is not exactly " on the fly"..

MD lenses would be hardly fit on other mounts because they have shorter focal lenght..

Cheers, good shooting!
