Cool. I thought the one you posted was out of camera. hmm.

Matt, what did you use to soften the shot? Posterize?

Much more than that. I found a Photoshop Action that basically made any picture look like it had been illustrated, cell shaded. Do a search in the After Effects forum and you will find it. I think the thread was "Cooking with Scanner Darkly". Or something to that effect.

But, I changed the original action to work with NTSC size footage. Then my computer crashed, and I lost two of the actions, but I had one on my other computer, but in a very primitive state. I have been trying to rebuild from memory what the steps were, but it involved quite a bit. There was Diffuse, Surface Blur, Gausian blur, High pass, Smart Blur, and quite a few others. I am still having difficulty rebuilding it.

I want back to the site that had the original, and whoever had posted it had taken it down.

When I get it properly rebuilt I was going to share it, but I am having a hard time remembering all the steps in the action. There were almost 30, and they have to be in just the right order. It takes almost 10-15 seconds to run the action on NTSC, and the bigger pics can take well over 30. I'm running a dual core AMD 2.4.

Check out the video results I got in the AE section. Some of them look great. I'll keep working on the Action, and keep looking for the original.

Hey guys I just got my D300 and am loving it so far. I've had little time to shoot with it but what I have has been a lot of fun. Now that I have it I'm going to sell my D200 thats in mint condition and will be putting it up on craigs list in the next two days but thought I'd post it here.

I haven't sold anything here yet so where should I post it? Here or is there a sellers list?

I'm going to ask $900 on craigs list but will take the first $800 from someone on this list. We bought it new and have the original box and it has beed pampered and taken well care of.

I have a paypal account but need to check it out for this price level and would love to sell it to someone in the Seattle area that might want it.
Its easy to sell locally but I'm sure we can work something out.

Bill this picture looks great.

Alright, the poor girl's face has been posted now 11 times. Let us pray to god she doesn't stumble across this forum 'cause she'll probably get freaked out and warn potential clients that I'm a creepy guy who puts super close up pictures all over on internet forums and has random nerdy guys play with them.

Yeah I did a version as well, but I'll keep it to myself. But I will say that my version is kick ass.

I'm on the mad props bandwagon crediting the wet floor photo. Very awesome. Perfectly angled and lit, and who could ask for better tiling? It's so hard to find classic black and white checkered floors these days. Especially wet ones. Rock on.
