I have a Nikon 80-200 zoom which I've used for wildlife on my GH4 with a Nikon to MFT adaptor. I would love something longer. Is a micro four thirds 100-400 longer? How does the conversion work?
Thanks!

Micro Four Thirds has a 2X crop factor so your Nikkor 80-200mm zoom is a 160-400mm full frame equiv. The 100-400 would be a 200-800 equiv for still and 1080p work on the GH4. in 4K mode the crop factor is more like 2.3 or 2.4X.
Yes it does. As long as you image on the same size sensor or close (all variants of M43 for example) to it you can ignore the crop factor and just compare the FL on lenses. Crop factor is tied to the sensor size.
