Nikon to Canon FD mount converter, will it work?

[lennard]

Hi there,

My DOF adapter has a nikon mount. I found some other brand mount converters, for example ''nikon to canon fd lens" on ebay, some with correction glass, others without.

Will it work?

I've read in some adverts that the lens wont focus to infinity, and that the correction glass will degrade imagequallity.

Does anyone here has experience with these lensmounts? It would be great to expand my DOF adapter with other glass than my nikon lenses.

Yup. My DOF adapter has a Canon EF mount and i own a set of Nikon lenses. I just picked up a simple converter, put it on to the lens (DO THAT FIRST), then put it onto the adapter.

Viola!

ok thats good news. do you use one with or without correction glass?

Don't ever use an adapter with glass in it as that's almost guaranteed to degrade image quality.
