Nikon or Canon?

I am looking at getting a 35mm adapter (Letus35) and I was wondering what people are using, Nikon or Canon lenses, and how they like them. What are the pro's and con's of both brands? Thanks!

I like Canon lense personally. A very wide selection of good lenses, and I've always been happy with them. This is my opinion from using my still camera. I know lucidz has the same setup with the Canon fd mount and he is very pleased with it.

When I'm ready to go that route, I'm going with Nikon, since I have a Nikon SLR with Nikon lenses.

I was asking what you guys have experienced with both types or one of the companies. What's better in your opinion?

If we think about the quality, any decent SLR lens is good enough for DV*. The main thing to consider would be the availability (Do I have C or N lenses already?) and which way you are used to turn the focus ring. All lenses should have the focus turn the same way.

*) DV linear resolution is about 1/4 of 35mm film.

I have Canon FD lenses. I picked up some high quality lenses for a fair price, however I shopped around for some time and got those in good condition. Im not sure, but I find locating quality fd lenses not so cheap or easy. I have been very picky..
