Nikon Non-AI, AI, AIS Lenses shoudln't be matter?

I just wanna confirm this with you guys...

Nikon has all sorts of lenses, Non-AI, AI, AIS lense.

AI this, AI that shouldn't be matter for us 35mm adapter users, right?

For 35mm adapters, you'll preferably use AI or AIS lenses. No big difference between these two btw.

A great resource for information about Nikon lenses is Ken Rockwell's site.

Ditto to TomGruber it pays to check them out individually sometimes the same lens but different model will have a different focus throw which can make using a follow focus harder/easier.
