Nikon 35 vs. Leica 35
Doing this test is was to decide if I should stick with the Leica line or move over to Zeiss ZF.
I made an breath test, with Nikon AIS F1.4 35 (Nikon mount) and a Leica
Summicron-r F2.0 35 (with a adapter ring to the EOS mount).
Al was done on a SGpro, but I can’t really judge the DOF in this test because
it’s to dark in the background, and no CC was used.
Both lenses were set to F2.8 and the aperture in the DVX100AE was F4.0.
The difference in colour is just from the each lens.
And my opinion on the first view I think the Leica scores more on the detail,
especially if you look at the beard you can see more detail in the Leica setup
than in Nikon.
Taken with the Leica lens.
Nikon lens.

(Sorry for the bad upload page.)
My question is, should I continue to buy Leica lenses, or move over to
Zeiss ZF, for the Nikon mount?
Anyone who has tried Zeiss ZF on a DVX are very welcomed to answer, but others feel just as free.
Thanks!
