Nikkor/PL flange measurements

[Shooter]

According to my quick Google research it is but...can anyone confirm that the Flange to Film plane distance for Nikkor lenses is 46.5mm please.

I have the measuring tools but I do not have a Nikon film camera at home to measure it for myself.

I am in the process of "marking" my Elite up according to this measurement for my Nikkor mount and also for my PL mount.

If anyone knows the same measurement for PL mounts that would be great also. ( I can get it from my rental house techs next week if not.)

Hi,

Yes, Nikon 'flange to film plane' is 46.5mm.

PL is 52mm.

is the flange measured from the rear element or the contact point of the lens mount?

[Wayne Kinney]

It is from the flange (contact point) on the mount.

Thanx for confirming both the measurements Wayne. Appreciate it.
