Hey guys,

I'm shooting a documentary about homemade haunted houses and I'm trying to find the best way of capturing candid "scare" video from within the darkest crooks and cranny's. Anybody have any tips or ideas on nightvision cameras or techniques?

Thanks in advance!

Michael

A surprising number of consumer video cameras have some form of so-called 'night vision' mode, although the methods (and quality) vary enormously. But the am-cam look may suit your doco - I'd say they're worth a few tests, if you have some such cameras available.

lots of camera have a night mode, but the problem usually rely on the IR source, too tiny. On ebay you will find chinese IR illuminator for cheap.

Yeah, if you can find some IR (infra-red) bulbs, they might match up nicely with a camera with an IR 'night vision' mode.
