Anyone here have experience hooking-up a night vision scope to an XL2 or DVX?
I think it would be quite easy, but I don't know which one to buy since there are so many around the same price with similar features. Is $300 too cheap for a decent one? It seems that Gen 1, 2 , or 3 will be fine for my needs. The Gen 3 ones seem to be way too expensive (~$3000).
Also, I don't know what results to expect and if I will need special post-processing.
I found a site that lists a ton of models, but I don't know if they're all crap or not.
