Nicolas Cage's new movie.

Anybody catch the National Treasure trailer? It's a story based on a treasure map behind the Constitution. The story also connects to the pyramid with the floating eye on the U.S. dollar. Sean Bean is in it, Boromir(sp?) from LOTR.

Anybody think this could be good?

If you like Jerry Bruckheimer films.

Personally, I think the films he produces, except for a couple of rare exceptions, are too loud, cut too fast, overly over-the-top, and aimed at hyperactive 14 year old males raised on MTV. :)

It looks like a fun movie. Ill check it out.

I can see why people dont dig Jerry Bruckheimer but I think he has more than few cool movies:

American Gigolo
Beverly Hills Cop
Beverly Hills Cop II
Top Gun
Crimson Tide
Armageddon
Enemy of the State
Black Hawk Down

Anyway, those are the film he Produced which I kind of dig.

He definitely does the "cool" movies quite well! I'd say though that he's a 'flick' producer, rather than a 'film' producer...

When I was little, Top Gun was my favourite movie of all time 8)

Black Hawk Down is flat out insane. Hey, he's a Producer not a filmmaker. He makes money by making films and he's making an arse load of money.

yeah kid movies are meant for kids...not adults so why should he be blamed for that?

If he made money from his intended audience then it was a success. And nobody can get it right 100% of the time, either...

Wasn't Pirates of the Carribean a Bruckheimer film?
I loved this movie for some reason. I thought it was fun.

I havent seen KING ARTHUR yet :/

I have a son and it is hard ot get to films at the actual theatre these days. Im a big DVD Sorround Sound guy because of this.

And oh yeah, Remember the Titans was kind of cool too and Pirates
