Nice Timelapse

I would call that a multiple exposure more than a time lapse.

Cool shot though.

I agree with TC. It's a classic case of a multiple exposure shot, like the analemma figure created by the composite "photos" of the Sun on different days of the year.

Time lapse denotes a motion sequence playing back in altered time, like a fast sunset, a seed sprouting, or a bullet going through an apple in slow motion. That's why many still cameras throughout the years are said to have a "multiple exposure" setting or lever to keep the same frame of film in place and re-expose it as needed.

Ok, it's a long exposure. This is one shot with the shutter left open.
I do it to make star trails all the time.
A multiple exposure would be I take a picture then I take another picture on the same frame. This isn't that. It's a single exposure with a long duration.
So, it's a photogrpahic timelapse and not a video timelapse.

creative us of long exposure. From the website it hints that it is of an airplane but seems to me that it is a roller coaster

Nah, it's an airplane.

The pilot and copilot were chatting, not paying attention, and then Holy crap! There's the airport! Gotta land this thing!

Well that doesn't quite make sense to me. If the shutter were left open the whole time than there wouldn't be specific points of light. The entire trail would be equally illuminated.

Unless the lights on the plain were flashing on and off- which could be the case.

OK, I stand corrected.

Upon a second viewing, I noticed you can see clearly that the shutter was left open to reveal the blinking lights along with the persistent lights to create lines and dots.

In any case, a very nice photo.

This necrotic horse is thoroughly beaten.
