I don't know who all here are football fans, but I sure am. And, my Denver Broncos are going to win tomorrow baby!!! I am picking Denver over Pitt. and Carolina over Seattle.

Go Broncos !

(There is no greater QB than John Elway by the way...)

Although Pitt is scaring me with the Cinderella thing; I always say, as long as it's not:

Green Bay
Raiders
Redskins
Giant's
Bears

or

the 49ers

Then I'm happy.

i rooted for john elway back in the day,
but now i gotta go for bettis and cowher...they deserve a superbowl IMO

plummer did a great job this year, and he'll be back. could be bettis' last season though and have respect for this guy. (anyone see the bio on him?)

seattle and carolina...could care less about.

btw, i'm a niner fan so what do i know.

I must say, I agree about Bettis, and respect the guy a lot, but I still gotta go with my team man! Plummer has finally had an almost great season. He's finally learnin' to work within the system at Denver. And hey, the Niners had their time and I'm sure they'll be a winning team in the next few years!

I'm a big Chiefs fan and I know the donkeys are good but I think Cowher may finally get over the hump. I also thing that Steve Smith will be a difference make againest the Hawks. Denvers defensive line is tough and that home crowd will make it rough on the berg but I give the edge at QB to Big Ben. All that being said, if Denver wins I won't be shocked, good team, good fans great division.

I don't see Pitt's D-line being as effective against the Broncos as they were against the Colts. Plummer does his best work under pressure. He has a better passer rating out of the pocket than in it, an Denver's O-line is much more effective at creating lanes and picking up blitzes than Indy. Donkeys by 4

Well after picking the Steelers last weekend (got 9pts on the game) and the Panthers (got 3pts) I'm hesitant to test my luck this weekend by putting my money were my instincts are.

Living here in Charlotte (and having season tickets to the Panthers) I'm rooting for Carolina. With Foster injured and questionable at best it's hard to pick Carolina for tomorrow, but even with Chicago trying to double team him, he still catches everything thrown his way.

I'm picking Pitt & Carolina... I'm just not putting money on my picks.

Actually, I hope the Panthers lose, because I don't really want to put up with the hysterics if they win.

That said, I think they're going to win.

C'mon, what's better that seeing the fair weather fans of our city driving around with their Panther flags and acting like they've been hardcore devotees their entire lives?

Isn't it funny that people can be die hard fans for teams that have no history? The Panthers have been around for what? 10 years? Maybe 13 now. There are some people in this city who are obsessed. The team has no history...

All I know is the Broncos all the way baby!!!

All right...I don't want to jinx my team or lay down any predictions. However, I am a HUGE HUGE HUGE Denver Bronco fan!!! I have been since I was a little kid in Colorado and they went to the late 70's Superbowl against Dallas.

I will be honest. I am NOT a huge fan of the assitant coaches. I think Kubiak is not nearly as inventive as Shannahan and their defensive coach has created a phenomenal run defense while ignoring their pass defense.

However, having said all of this...I am SHOCKED that Denver is this close to winning it all! I mean, they are actually favored to win it all! Because Indy lost, Denver is a frontrunner. That is great. Their true chances might be lower than the Vegas odds, however, I am thrilled at how far they've gotten.

So, all of my friends here know that if they win tomorrow, I will be jumping all over the place. If they lose...I will probably "off" myself.

Since I live in the Detroit suburbs and work in the city a few blocks from Ford Field, I'm hoping that all the teams will lose and the Super Bowl will be canceled. It took me twice as long to get to work last week with the Auto Show, which Detroit hosts ever year. Super Bowl week is going to suck.

Sorry, I haven't posted in several weeks and I come back bitching and raining on your parade. I can't help it. I don't like football to begin with, so I'm not exatly enthusiastic about having the Super Bowl in town.
