Hey everyone, not sure who else is football fans on here, but I sure am... I am sitting here watching the Titans vs Colts, great game so far... I'm a big Bronco fan, and am anxiously awaiting their game this afternoon when they destroy the Raiders :) :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

go falcons! with hard work and a lot of luck, we may actually be able to win 1 or 2 games this year.

Destroy? Idunno bout that, but if we had a person on the sidelines with half of a brain, then Dante would have been in and it wouldnt have been that close. The D continues to stifle offenses, but the O just dissapoints.

What a waste of a what has been a rarity, a +100 yard game for Jordan.

Pats and Sox baby!

Hopefully, after last night's drubbing of the Chargers, we can all agree that "cheating" (and I conspicuously use those quotes) has and had nothing to do with why the Pats win football games...

/duck mode on

Your right dude, the Raiders played well, gotta hand it to them... now they need some O to match their D.

Huge Pats fan, nothings going to stop us this year now that we got some recievers that can catch. We walked over the Chargers last night. The game was over at half time. After LT through a hissy fit after last years playoff game, I can't stand the Chargers.

I'm just killing time until the hockey season starts

I'm a huge Maple Leafs fan. Are you a Wild fan? I doubt your a Stars fan right?

My bro has season tickets to the Ducks... I'll be going a lot this season!

The Ducks are going to be a tough team again this year, I expect them challenge for the cup again, they are going to miss Niedermyer if he decides to retire, but Brian Burke has done a great job putting that team together. If Selane retires it will be interesting if Bertuzzi can step up the missing offence.

Unfortunately, this entire year for the Patriot's is going to be tainted. It's unfortunate as they are probably the best team in the league. Even if they win the superbowl this year, it will be, "Man, they're good.... and in a tough year for them and the coach due to the allegations of cheating."

The director of the Boys and Girls clubs here that we do work for is a huge Pats fan so I had to make him up this mock advertisement from Reebok the other day.

Anyway,
I'm a huge Broncos fan as well (Nice choice Bronco Brandon) and will be traveling from AK to watch Brett Favre lose to them in October. I'll also be in Tampa to see Tampa v Titans the same month (Whenever I'm out of state I have to go check out a game).

What sucks is that Belichick is going to be the only coach that only got caught. This is something that I think is widespread througout the leauge and now that everyone is aware of the consequences nobody will be doing it. If you listen to the majority of the commentators, x coaches, they've all basically admitted to bending the rules in order to gain any advantage. I think there allegations that Mike Shanahan had someone tape the Raiders practices years ago and the Raiders had to hire security to patrol their practice area.

It was wrong and they team and Belichick paid the price for it but for people take away all of his achievements as a head coach (espcially over the past 7 years) I think is a little over doing it.

I honestly doubt that. This is a story because we are between plea and sentencing for Vick. As we get closer to the sentencing date, this will become a non-issue.

Plus, this isn't like steroids where the benefit is (arguably) continuing, despite the fact that you've been caught. The Pats got caught...fine...but their transgressions won't impact 15 of the 16 regular season games they play (and didn't impact the 1st one either, but we'll concede that one for argument's sake). At the end of the season, if the Pats wind up on top, is anyone really going to be in a position to claim that the "taint" of cheating is still around?

If anything I think it proves that they never really needed to do it in the first place. It should be considered too its the players that are ultimately making the plays not the coaches.
