I gotta say I find it pretty cool, but also food for serious thought. I suppose in my lifetime I will see robots in the supermarkets, on the bus, a park bemch maybe. Watching movies - which reminds me .... AI is already writing scrteenplays. really love this Hasselhoff classic ....

As far as the supermarket, I shared an experience I recently had either in the thread above or another similar thread where I mentioned I was at a store at the airport which had no human help, and you took whatever you wanted and the system/AI knew what you took and you would be billed later for it (you had to scan your CC to enter through the door).

I thought that was cool and it got me thinking about a supermarket that could be built like B&H is with tubes and conveyor belts sending products down and across to different locations in the building.

When I was waiting for my flight, I was picturing an advanced supermarket which would have robots deliver the products to its location, and then other robots would unpack the products from the trucks and move them to these tubes which connected to different parts of the store. The items would shoot in and stock themselves based on the layout. The shelves could/would also move and change, if necessary.

All of this together with the recent advances in AI farming and you'd rarely see people anymore in this sector (until something went wrong, which it would from time to time).
