newegg book/mb

[Thane101]

I just got my DVX100b today and had two questions...

"Does the DVX 100b come with the DVX book and magic bullet or do you have to send away for them." (I have heard people say both)

"How do I confirm if it's a US authorized model?" I have heard that the letters TD in the serial number confirm that it is a US model...is this true?

Thanks for any info...

You have to send away for them. It's part of the rebate which was supposed to have expired at the beginning of this month. Fortunately It seems like it was extended.

I got my DVX from Newegg and at that time they had a copy of the rebate form on their site, but I took a look and didn't see it anymore. They may be unaware the rebate is extended since they don't deal directly with Panasonic USA. So what you need to do is search google for a copy of the $350 Panasonic rebate form for the 100b. That will also include the number you call to confirm your serial number.
