Newborn shoot

Here are some shots from a newborn shoot I did about a month ago. Not sure if anyone here does this kinda of stuff but thought I would share anyway.

For the record, this shoot went horribly. The baby was fussy the entire time and it took forever for me to get a decent shot of him. I did another about 2 weeks later that went much better. I'll post those too at some point.

These were the first two newborn shoots I've done where a baby didn't poo or pee on my stuff....so that was a plus! :thumbsup:












And here is a little funny face out-take that did not make the final cut.
 
Not sure I like the dark background in the first few. Looks like the kid is floating in outer space or something... just doesn't strike me as natural.

Last one is nice, though.
 
It seams to be one of the "things" in baby photography. That and white bg. Normally I use a hair light or bg light to help separate the subject more, but this little fella couldn't hardly hold his head up yet.

Here are the rest of the shots, and some of these might be a little more to your liking.
 
The second set was actually of a little girl. We just got her fat and tired and let a little time do it's thing. It took a while.
