Newbie with FCPHD

Hey,

I have just finished capturing my video onto to FCP HD. sINCE i am really new at this I would like to know how to do color correction, use the noise reduction tools, and any other general useful tools that you guys commonly use when doing your edit.

Drag the filter you want to use onto the clip you are working with. Double click on the clip, In the viewer click the "filters"tab. Go nuts with the settings!

For me, the best way to learn what did what was to experiment.
 
Digital Film Tree publishes two books for working with Final Cut Pro HD. The first focuses on the setting up your system and the basics of editing, and the second walks you through advanced editing and finishing techniques. The second one goes into quite a bit of detail regarding color correction.

Mattc gave the same advice I would,do yourself a favor and buy the first book at least!!
