newbie question

[Jeff In Ocala]

just got AE 7 educational version* and was messing around with it and noticed I am missing some plugins "cc toner" is the one that comes to mind is there a way I can get it ? should it have loaded with the software? any help is appreciated.
*ps its the whole production bundle but I am mainly focusing on AE

Hmmm -- wonder if cc toner would have been Pro version only...

you can do the same effect with a simple solid, just chage it's opacity

Yeah, I don't think edu version comes with any extra plug-ins.

I found out that i didn't install the third party plugins off the install disk i went back and did it and all is well now

Maybe Adobe changed their policy on Educational versions...

about 1 year ago I bought 6.5 pro off of AcademicSuperstore and found out it didn't include any of the Cycore effects or Zaxwerks 3D invigerator.

I was dissappointed, but then I found out I really only use a couple of different plug ins no matter what I might be doing in After Effects...
