has any1 been to the new york film academy? if so, how was the experience? im a student trying to gain experience in the industry, and i am based in dallas,tx. here in dallas, production is slim to none. i would like to get into the music video/ short film/commerical scene. what i am looking for, is to get the basics of the digital equip. and so on. after completeting the workshop, i would do my own projects and start developing my reel.

also, i have looked at the international workshops at rockport. any comments on them?

thanks.
