Newbie looking for workflow advice!

Hey guys! I've searched around a bit, and if someone can direct me to a good thread or place to read, that'd be great. So I'm beginning my venture into cinematography coming from a music producing standpoint. What i really want to do is create music videos (maybe 'movies'!) to the music that I make. So I have my trusty t2i with magic lantern and a couple nikkors and a tokina 11-16 that give me some good options.

Basically what I'm looking for is, the order that you do things in (once you have the footage!) So say I have my footage, and I get it into Premiere. Right now, I'm kind of arranging the clips in the order I like, then color correcting a couple here and there, then adding neat video for noise, then re-arranging. What I'm looking for is some help regarding what the 'standard' kind of workflow is. Do I arrange clips first? Then do I go and color correct each one individually to be coherent? And then bounce that to a new sequence and add neat video to the whole thing? I'm kind of flustered at this point because with the variation of all the different shots I make, I'm not sure how to treat all the clips; if I should figure out order first, or color correct, or remove noise, etc.

Is there such thing as a 'standard' type workflow? I just need a little direction on what the usual process is when editing :Drogar-Shock(DBG):

I would recommend getting PluralEyes 3 from Red Giant if you are going to be doing music videos. Are you doing a lot of multi-cam shots or is it just one camera? I would focus on syncing master and pickup shots to the music first so that you have more time focusing on the creative down the line. Doing any finishing touches like color grading and noise removal without taking care of the structure of the video will only cause more headache than you want to deal with

No sense in working on clips that don't make the final cut, so typically you edit first, then do color correction, finally noise reduction.

thank you guys! that makes sense. i just kept hearing something to the effect of 'so i brought it right into davinci from the camera for color grading'... and that made me think i was doing it wrong. mmk guess it's pretty straightforward then

and as far as shooting, i'd only have one camera (for now). The music I make doesn't usually tend to have lyrics (progressive house), so that's not a major concern of mine. Actually what I've been planning I pretty much wouldn't be using any audio from the shoot itself. But maybe down the line that's something good to keep in mind...
