Newb :-( FCP exporting to DVD studio

Hi there

I'm trying to cut a DVD for the first time. I've exported my timeline as a .mov and reimported into DVD studio. I've set the clip to first play...but when I simulate it there's some black footage at the start of the clip...yet on FCP there is quite clearly no black footage.

Does anyone know how I can easily trim a couple of seconds from the start of the animation? this needs to loop too...I'm trying to set the "Loop" in DVD studio..is that possible?

Jeez..this should be easy..it plays "looping" in FCP and looks grand..but can I make a DVD out of it..sniff.

There's always bit of a delay in simulation especially from a .MOV- I'd burn a DVD and see if the delay is still there.
