Are there any reviews for this head?

It looks like the camera is higher than a normal head so floor shots (without a crane) would be higher. Having the pivot inline with the lens rather than below it seems interesting.

Does it have a good level? Is the level illuminated?

I've just got one and will be shooting on in within a couple of weeks in a feature film/dramatic situation, off Bogen sticks, tall and short, a hi hat, an 8/12 Kessler crane setup, possibly my friend's long Jimmy Jib, and also a Minijib, if that arrives in time.

I'll probably be having a lot to say about it.

Camera rig is an EX1 with Letus Elite (Extreme with the back focus adaptor), loads of lenses (8mm to 500mm) and speeds (variable shutter shots, slomo/overcranks, etc). Chrosziel 4x4, Indie FF and Indie/Cavision rod setup, monitor, etc., in other words a full rig for a lot of the time.

Up until now I've been running Miller Arrows and all kinds of O'Connors. I've mainly been using the old but still excellent 30B for my EX1 setup until now.

My shoots are mainly hard sci fi, so there will be loads of movement both crawling and very fast, odd angles, simulating zero gravity and impacts,, dutched shots, etc.. The head will certainly get a work-out.

Should be interesting to see what this head will do.
