new zeiss zf lenses with canon mount...

Does anyone know how long or short the focus throw on these lenses is. Especially compared to the zeiss lenses with contax mount. I am trying to figure out which lenses to buy. Any pros and cons?
 
There's just a few focal lengths in the EOS mount right now. Our Zeiss friends are suggesting there'll be more in 1st quarter 09. I can pretty much guarantee they'll be very similar to the ZF mounts with the only difference being the rear mechanicals. Hmmmm, I just looked at pictures of the new Zeiss lenses with canon mount. Looks like they have no manual aperture unlike the nikon version. That would be a disappointment. Can anybody confirm? I already got exited about this lens because I don't like that the focus direction is reversed on the zeiss lenses with nikon mount...
 
Looks like there isn't a manual iris ring on them- the best way to get the newer Zeiss lenses in EOS mount (and have physical aperture control) is to buy the m42 versions (ZS) and then buy m42->EOS mount adapters for them. I have one of the adapters and it works great.

But the ZS version has also reversed focus right?
