Somebody whould have posted this so I thought I'd go for it.

Mine is twofold

2 complete my first real short with the DVX

....3....learn to spell or start a donation box for Jarred to buy an online spell checker

Re: new years resolutions

Hey Mino try highlighting a word then right clicking your mouse for the proper .
Just trying to make 2005 as easy as possible.
My resolution is more of a whish, to live in the same country as my wife.

Re: new years resolutions

Always some new trick...Thanks. Don't know the details but I really wish your wish comes true....Quick like!

Re: new years resolutions

Thanks Mino
I have been waiting for my greencard for almost two years now, and at this point I have to wait until I get it just to go to the states. Thus my wife is down there, and I do not really give a rats ass about new years eve.
But I do get to watch as many bowls games as my senses will allow

Re: new years resolutions

No borders, or an instant greencard would make me the happiest sap on this planet.

Re: new years resolutions

Without getting too deep and eating up lots of Jarreds turf. I always wish we were smart enough to live together as one big happy global community without need for borders or need to insist that we try to ensure our beliefs are believed by others. One world, one people, one big happy caring familly......Dream on mino ;D

Re: new years resolutions

Re: new years resolutions

Didn't know you could have that many resolutions...Thougt it was only one.....All righty then.....new list coming up. And Thartly...Who you kidding...keep the car clean ;D ;D ;D

Re: new years resolutions

Actually I feel pretty good about this new years thing for a change. I'm all alone cos my girlfriend is out looking after a sick friend and normally I would feel rejected and alone but I have this one year old kitten that just reminded me in her own way how beautiful this voyage of life is. i am totally ready for 2005 and the kitten is ready to play fetch the mouse(she has these stuffed mice all over the apartment, you throw, she fetches like a dog). She is precious. I'll have to upload some footage before she becomes a couch blob like her older brother....happy new year all!

Re: new years resolutions

No matter what kind of year I've had, I always wipe the slate clean on the New Year. I am a pretty optimistic guy and I look at a new calendar with wonder, trying to figure out what joy will fill those days to come.

Nevermind that most of it is boring, meaningless, trivial crap.

The Dream lives.

Anyway, my New Years res is the same as it always is: be a better me. This year that includes a few paychecks for being behind the camera instead of the belly of an airplane.

Re: new years resolutions

To do whatever I can to make the world better in 2005, than it was in 2004. And also, to become a Platinum Member at DVXuser.com.

Heppy New Year!

Re: new years resolutions

you just post 65 more smileys PK and they hand you the keys...hey a friend of mine told me that the earths rotation was slowed, fractionally by the recent quake?...It's my thread and I can Hijack it if I want! Do you feel like you're going slower or faster PK? ;D

Hey...And while we're on the same thread, did you figure out you're pro capture probs?

Re: new years resolutions

I always feel like I'm going slower than everyone else. Still got the PPro problems. I think I'm going to have to do a reinstall.

Mino, I thought you were in San Francisco. What's with the Canadian Flag?

Re: new years resolutions

San fran was boring me.. so I moved to Vancouver...Way better country, Igloos and white bears everywhere. Why are you in Thialand?...I thought you lived just north of Kiev! :)

I am doing good so far...just lastnight, I went out to my car to go to a friend's house, and there was this half empty soda can in my cupholder. Not wanting to clutter up my car, I poured the rest out in the driveway, crumpled the can, and threw it into my bushes. See? No longer in the car! ;D

Re: new years resolutions

Reminds me of a funny lady I knew once who wouldn't let anyone park in her driveway cos she'd get oil stains all over it. I can still see her on her hands and knees with an arsenal of weird Amway products scrubbing and cursing Henry Ford ;D

Re: new years resolutions

Wow, guess she never heard "Dont sweat the small stuff".

Well, its now Jan 2, and my car is still basically almost completely cleaned out. Oh, my daughter spilled a huge sweet tea all over the front floorboard lastnight. :( But no worries. I was more upset that it drenched her sketch pad, too.

Re: new years resolutions

Still midnight here....Not sure what day....I know it's midnight cos the vcr keeps flashing it at me. Could be noon I guess, I'll have to stop rendering soon and get out someplace, see how the world is turning. It could be summer for all I know. I keep my blinds closed cos that damned highrise across the street gets as bright as a welding torch when the sun hits the windows, and it splashes all over my monitors.
