New Wedding Video website!

That's a very good website. It very easy to navigate and everything is neatly laid out. The only thing that I can think of to suggest is in your demo section when you view a click for the person to have rewind ,pause , fast forward , etc.. controls

i think its slick man... im gonna be getting into weddings as well soon... how long have ya'll been doind them... and what's the market like where you work.... are your prices pretty standard.... or are they based on reputation?

Thanks guys. I'm still fine tuning the site here and there.

We've been doing weddings for about 8 months now, but we've been in business for over 2 years, and I've been working with video for almost 8 years now.

Our prices are based on our location, so they are comparable to other places and are also based on our time, etc.

Nice site Mike. Did you build it yourself? Looks like a pro job.

Thanks! :) Yeah did it myself. That is one of the main things I offer with Technotic Media is websites, along with video production, etc, so I'd hope I do an ok job haha. :engel017:

the only thing that I would say is that the gray box you have there has alot of dead space when the pictures come up. add some smaller pictures or have some text fill in the space. Other than that, I thought it was very solid.

Really nice website! Been thinking about converting mine to a flash-based design. What would you charge for similar set up?

A few nit-picky notes:

* The font size makes it a little hard to read.
* On the packages page every item is capitalized, except for "photo" in the Amethyst section. Also, might want to consider using bullets to break out the various items under each part. It kind of all runs together now.
* In the a la cart section, there's two typos -- both where you offer On(e) Hour of raw footage.
* I love the intro montage at the beginning. REALLY nice use of words and pictures. Your choice of words were especially good. However, in the part where you say "A photo can only capture a special moment while a movie can capture time in motion" (very nice btw) you might want to consider following that with a short clip, say of bride smiling instead. Following with a photo, like you have it now, kind of runs contrary to the point you're trying to make about the dynamicism of video.

Anyway, again, very nice work.

Thanks for the comments! I keep forgetting to get in there and fix my typos hehe :)

JRAnderson - I spent a lot of time on that site, but nothing too crazy. We would probably charge around $1500 to $2000 for a site like that. I think thats very reasonable considering I've seen pricing in the $5000-6000 range for something like that! :)

The overall look is great, but there are some spelling errors/typos you might want to fix. After a quick perusal, here's what I see:

On the about us page:
"America Express" should be American Express
Incase should be two words.

On the packages page:
Rehearsal is misspelled several times.
Under Diamond Package you have Loction instead of location.

On the A la Carte list:
Again, rehearsal is wrong all over the place.
Ceremony is misspelled a couple of times.

Thats it for now. It is apparent that you know your stuff, great job with the layout and look. Well, actually I have one gripe. The dictionary style definition of Elegance when the site loads is kind of cliche.

Thanks man :) I still keep forgetting to fix them and upload the new app. I had copied the text from someone who typed it up for me, and I didn't notice them, hehe.
