Hello all,
I am doing a soft launch with a new video community website here on dvxuser. www.myspecspot.com This is a site that you can go and upload your spec commercials for free. It works like funnyordie.com or you tube but for spec commercials. People can post comments and rate your commercials. The site is just going live with a soft launch so I can see how it works. I would like feedback from the community about how it works from joining the site to uploading and streaming of the commercials.
Down the road if all goes right, we will start to hold contest for companys. We hope this becomes a great outlet for filmmakers and their specspots.

Please let me know what you think. . .

Thanks

Interesting. For those who don't know, Dave is a friend of DVXUser and has been for a long time; he has spoken at our BootCamps and he shoots tons of stuff for MTV on the DVX.

The site looks very nice. I'll definitely upload my specs when I get a chance.

The Vicky spot is a spec spot. The others are spots done to test the site. They are not spec spots. Looking for everyone to utilize the site. We are working on some stuff for the site that will be really cool.
Thanks for checking out and post those spots. I really want to put the spot through some paces. If you dont have a spot then please join. .. .
thanks
dave

Hey all I have been on shows and have not but keeping up with the site. But 2009 is going to bring some cool stuff. I am still looking for people to upload and join the site so I can test the back end. Please if you have some commercials you have done upload them and give me your thoughts on how the site worked for you. Not just looking for spec spots. UPload your best stuff and start some discussion on your process.
Thanks
dave
