New web site but not up..

I just got a website today from Powweb. Now all this computer stuff is still kinda new to me, so Iam going to have to get a lot of info from friends and books on how to design one and how to upload clips. If anyone is willing to help out, I will buy you a steak or take you on some of the best pond fishing in the state of Georgia. Heheheh. ???

Thinking anyone can accomplish quality web design or be "shown how" is kinda like me saying "can somebody give me some tips on brain surgery?"

I'm not saying they're alike, just that it takes experienced professionals to accomplish the results you're most likely going for.

I wasn't trying to be rude, just my 2 cents ;)

Ohh, I know that. I have a friend who knows HTML and all that other stuff. I was thinking to get going is to start with front page. Powweb has many templetes, but as far as uploading some clips and stuff, I dont have a clue on how you do that. Will take some time. :-/

Buy Dreamweaver and shop for a book to tell  you how to use it.
Dreamweaver is the industry standard for WYSIWYG web editing..

Always make your tables 100%. They will always view full screen despite viewer user settings.

Kai is right.. It takes a long long time to learn design.. I have learned soo much in 3 years and have soo much more to learn.
The perfectionist I am I never feel my sites are finished or good..

After you have built some sites then you need to learn about Meta Tags. These are used to tell the bots from search engines where to rank you depending on the relevance of the Meta Tags to the word attempting to key on.

Just a few tips..
