VH-1 and Tijuana Entertainment (The Producers of "Breaking Bonaduce,"
“Supergroup” and "Shooting Sizemore") are seeking "up and coming" and
"undiscovered" music video creators to participate in a new TV show where
contestants are pitted against each other in a music video shooting
competition.
The premise is quite simple. Each week an extremely well known music artist
will present a classic video to the competing teams, and they will be given
equal resources, a limited amount of $, and very little time to remake that
video entirely in their own mold. Using their existing talents and a lot of
drive, the teams will compete with each other and the clock to deliver the
finished video to a panel of well qualified/known judges that will decide
the winner and ultimate loser.
The show aims to depict the creative process of video-making and to expose
the talents of people who have what it takes to be a high level professional
in the industry.
If you are interested in participating, you must meet the following
criteria:
1. You must have existing, viewable material that proves your talent level
for the competition. (This does not need to be a music video, but it
doesn't hurt.)
2. You must be in the Los Angeles area or willing to travel there at your
own expense for a casting session (One day in early Feb) and the week of the
shoot (One week in late Feb)
3. You must be willing to create a short audition video about yourself
(details TBD)
4. You must have the passion and drive to work long hours and test every
aspect of your creativity in a truly intense competition
If interested, please send me (RobatTijuana) a link (Quicktime preferred) to your work and your contact information. After viewing the material we will contact you.
We a Tijuana Entertainment are avid readers of the dvxuser.com and respect
the high level of knowledge and talent exhibited on the site. I will be monitoring this board and encourage discussion about the show and music video postings. We look
forward to seeing what you've got!!
