So I've been looking into getting a new TV. I want it to be 16:9, preferably CRT, HD, and under a grand.
I've been considering this sony. It seems to have everything. 3:2 pull down removal, component inputs. Most TV's I've been looking at seem to be 1080i native? Is there anything out there natively progressive? It'd be nice to watch DVD's progressively in true 24p (which I assume is what the 3:2 pull down removal is doing), but is it actually displaying the video progressively or converting it to interlaced first?
If you guys have been through this before, help would be appreciated. Sony seems to have the best picture quality, and that Model seems to be what I'm looking for, I just want an outside opinion.
Thanks in advance.
