Hi,
I am coming back after writing my 276 pages how-to E-Book on documentary filmmaking. It's free for downloading (3,7 Mo, pdf file), but under Creative Commons licence.
« Professionaliser sa camera DV en vue d'une efficacité documentariste »,

Three months writing,
- Two years Web surfing on gear in several meterologic conditions,
- Hundred threads, posts, articles back reviews,
- Several months of filmmaking documentary practice in southern Alps with poor shepherds community,
- My own philosophy about people filmmaking.
Sorry, this huge work is written in french, but you can get in with several index and tables :
- index of video knowledge in randomly 50 questions (to test yourself),
- detailed contents (to easily get in paper),
- small personal narratives in documentary (the spirit of my work),
- index of knowledge-being (my philosophy)
I thank all the users of this forum, I learn a lot. Some of you are reviewed.
Please enjoy, have fun and share !
Best wishes from France,
Xpl
