New Trailer

The film looks interesting, but I don't think the trailer conveys that. The conventional faux deep voice over isn't cutting it. The deep voice over guy is very distinct and the person you have doing it doesn't match the guy who does most Hollywood trailers. And I don't think it helps to advertise an unknown director of a film. I have no idea who the director is. That really only works with Spielberg, Lucas, or other big established names.

Maybe a trailer with scenes and dialogue from your film would better suit the story. Just my .02 dinars.

Personally, I thought the VO was done well. My only suggestion would be to vary his cadence somewhat. Who cares if it resembles "the voice" of Hollywood's movie trailer king.

Maybe just a little to much low end on the mix but it could be my PC speakers vs previewing it on a set of professional monitors. I use EVENT Studio 8's.

I think promoting yourself (or whoever the director/producer etc.) is fine. We all have to start somewhere.

Your trailer looks interesting enough to invest the time to view your film so I would say it served your purpose.

Overall, good job and keep filming.

Good luck.
