New to lenses. Info on telephoto.

Hi,
I´m really new with the Dvx100, and specially the lens world.
Could someone please recomend an economic telephoto lens? to increase the DOF. Is it worth buying a cheap one?
Once I get a lens do I need an extra adapter to attach it to the cam?

Unfortunately I once had the exact same problem you are having now, I found out that the ONLY tele lens adapter worth anything is the Century. DO NOT use anything else, you will definately regret it. Problem is, it is VERY expensive. I rented mine from Abel CineTech in NY (http://www.mediumblend.com/abelstore/customer/product.php?productid=339&cat=5) at a reasonable price. If you only need it for one shoot I'd suggest doing that.
Oh yeah, and you don't need any adapter for it.
