New to DVXUSER

Hello DVX USER members! I'm new to this site and was introduced to it by the user "Zfarms Productions"

I am currently attending Full Sail University and am working on various short films and scripts. I hope to find support here for these and more and am looking forward to networking!

(Any tips, advice or suggestions for posting on DVX USER or just general questions about me would be greatly appreciated)

I couldn't have said it better myself, Anhar. Welcome Martin, you will find this to be a great community full of kind, talented and helpful people. What do you like to do best? Write? Direct? Get water? You should take a look at the upcoming film fest TwilightFest. The rules have not been announced yet, but maybe you can make your debut by entering a film. If script writing is your thing, head over to the current ScriptFest. At any rate, don't hesitate to ask if you need anything, everyone here is always willing to help except for Mark Harris.*

Wow, thanks a lot for all of you who have welcomed me so soon! To answer some of the questions, I am the passionate about Directing/Writing, but have strong talent towards Visual Effects and such.

Welcome to DVXuser! Heaven Online! Its funny, I was just reading some stuff about Full Sail. How do you like it there?
 
Full Sail is great when it comes to hands on training and on set experience. It is very good when it comes to giving you real world situations and learning everything from grip gear to operating cameras and setting up lights.

One downside I would have to say is that the teachers seem to lack detailed technical information. It is still a great school!
 
full sail eh? a buddy of mine went there and i grew up just down the road. lots of fun toys to play with. :)

Definitely a lot of awesome toys! That would be one of their benefits- they have so much gear it isn't even funny. It's like Willy Wonka's Film Factory!
