I used to work in the American Museum of NAtural History as a part time Job while DPing.... Dping really picked up so i wasforced to quit.... and i missed that place. Some of the nicest most relaxing times of my life. I was an Insect Preparator, and i specialized in Hymenoptera. Bees and Wasps. I pinned this bad boy. its a Vespa Mandarinia Magnifica. Its about 2.5 inches long.... BIG ass Asian Wasp...

Just a reminder of a great time in my life.

Tight. I thought about getting a Panasonic P2 tattoo once... dunno if that'd up my cool factor at shows like NAB or not!

Those hornets are beasts. 20 of them gang up and kill an enitre hive of bees. like 20k+ bees. then he eat the honey and larvae.

They also spit acid and have a nasty sting.

Little Dragon from "Paul Booth's Last Rites" did the work. he is an incredibly talented Tattoo artst.

I highly recomend him if youre in NY.

My favorite museum of all time is the Museum of Natural History and the Study of Man at the Smithsonian. Man, so jealous you use to work at a museum, love those places.

Who designed your tattoo cuz it's sic.

I moved to Colorado from New York in 91. I took my wife there for a visit not long after we started dating. Like me, she is a museum whore (we spent our honeymoon at the Smithsonian), so our first stop was the AMNH. We parked her car on Central Park West and when we came out someone had stolen her radio in front of all those people in broad daylight. She was not happy.

I like Natural History Museums too, but haven't been to New York's yet. My favorite is also the Smithsonian. We went a couple times when I was a kid, and my favorite part? The Automat downstairs, and the French Fries :) Is it still there, or has it also finally closed down?

That's right when I moved here. Hopefully the recession will give us some of the old glory back :)
