New SWIT waveform monitor S-1071F

[KINOKS]

It's not THAT new but it became available for order just now. It's sound perfect to me:

1024x600 ressolution
7" diagonal
weveform
RGB histogram
vectorscope
peaking
blue-only
etc.

Has anybody had one of these in their hands? I can't seem to find any reviews on-line (except one really short and non descriptive from NAB 2011)... I would like to order one, but not before I can see a review or something. I'm especially concerned about the viewing angles...

Wonder how this compares to the TVLogic VFM-056wp? Similar feature set/size/price.

In my country I can get it about 600€ cheaper than the TvLogic. I don't know why it costs so much in US. It should be around 1100$ and not 1600$.

I do, too.

I am going to order one, I compared the Swit S-1071F (aka JVC DT-X71F ), SmallHD DP6, IkanVX7e, TVLogic VFM-056WP, Atomos Samurai and for what I am doing that it looks to be the best fit. I compared them all here with a little chart/table: http://www.digitalbuilt.com/?p=169

Just for your information, I contacted Swit about the screen matrix technology used... They say the screen uses an FFA panel. That's good, it's similar to an IPS panel, so viewing angles should be excellent as should be the colour reproduction and luminance.

Ehm... I get the impression here on DVX that you'll be ordering the Swit... but on the link you posted, you say you'll be ordering the TVLogic....
So which is it?
