somehow , directors don't like to stick to the comics costume, they love to change it. the classic superman 1978 was the only one that made you believe a man can fly because he was straight from the comic book, nothing much changed, expect we could have done with a better lex luthor. imagine how x-men would have been if they kept their colorful uniforms, would it have worked.

I hated the x-men costumes when I first saw them. I still think their a bit goofy, but they worked within the world that Singer created. And so I'll give him a chance on this superman thing.
