New Superman Costume

Jeez I hope this doesn't suck. That guy looks like some kid you'd see at a comicon convention in a han solo or spiderman suit. Reeves was a great superman.

This guy has big shoes to fill.

The original is a great film; Hackman, Reeves, Beatty and even Margot Kidder was a cool Lois; although I'd like to see a 'sexier' one this time; and no not the kind on the T.V. Series Version.

The original score was perfect; I'd like to see Williams onboard with this one. It's going to be interesting.
 
I didn´t like Koepp work in first Spiderman, he had too much moral things to "teach" (i hope he doesn´t do same in War of the worlds)... Second one was much better.

Xmen are nice, but in first one Magneto is way too soft. And in the second one, this secret base didn´t got me with his evil plan to destroy mutants... Why kidnap mutants if you want to destroy them? He had Xavier right by this moment... Well.

IMO The problem comes about seeing the differences between real action with a purposse inside the plot and action just to show how cool are mutants or Superman; just to fill minutes.

I think i´m getting old...

i think shes hot...but, i dont think shes Ms. Lane.

there was this girl i used to work with...OMG she would have been the perfect lois ever...like for real! totaly looks the part...ofugginwell...

yes, for the most part i agree...but, as an option, there is something cool about younger clark/sups and an older lois. its kinda the thing today anyway, and would be interesting to see onscreen in a flick like this, to me that relationship is way more interesting then the one that you would see between a teenibopper like lois (Bosworth) and clark.

I'm everything about superman, I got the little pen holder and an action figure across from me... So I guess you could say this has gone threw my mind.... I think Bosworth will be a good Lane, Definetly not my first choice however.... I like the actress playing lane on smallville....

Personally I'd go like Rich said, but you kinda got a go with someone equal in maturaty as Clark Kent so Monica wouldn't really work.... I think Ashley scott would have made a good lane....

And I think they should have gone with a slightly older Superman, but I can understand wanting to use someone who would still fit the role for the sequel's... But really supermans a bad ass he's friggin huge ( body builder huge ) not boy band size.......

I agree; SUPERMAN should be just that "SUPER M A N". This appears more like SUPERBOY to me. Bosworth will be great.
 
i think the new superman looks kinda wimpy but i can see it the more i think about it. after all an insanely built clark kent never made much sense anyways.

besides when you think about superman doesn't have his powers because he was built, its because of the gravity of his planet, so why was he built in the first place?

ah well i don't really care for the character in the first place, he seems too fake, i hope the movie won't suck.
 
wow, for some reason I love that poster! As Paris Hilton would say " That's hot!" . Yeah, I hope this movie won't suck. I do however love the X Men movies Brian Singer did. So I have faith..somewhat..

Has anyone seen the An Evening with Kevin Smith DVD? He talks about how he was writing a script for the new Superman, and the guy who was producing it didn't want Superman to fly, or wear the traditional costume. He also wanted Superman to fight a giant spider.

The flick never got made, and that guy went on to produce Wild Wild West, and he put the giant spider in it.

EDIT: I just looked on IMDB, Jon Peters is producing!!! Man, that's funny. You guys HAVE to check out the Kevin Smith DVD and hear the whole story, it's absolutely ridiculous.

PS. Kevin Spacey will make and awesome Lex Luthor.
 
Give to this SUPERBOY Monica as Lois Lane and he's gona be a SUPERMAN at the end of the movie, for sure. :)

Yes, he really look too young.
