New Sony FS7

Just reading Alister's review http://www.xdcam-user.com/2014/09/sonys-new-pxw-fs7-first-impressions/ and thinking about the lack of center crop and OLPF interchangeability - reckon that's the traditional handicapping rearing its ugly head again, giving some users a valid reason to spend twice as much on, say an F5. I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure neither of those things would be in the slightest bit challenging to include - the center crop is a software thing, and the OLPF is a very simple mechanical one. Or am I missing something?

Having a swap out OPLF is more engineering - certainly a cost implication - and 'not required' as the market sector has never worried about the FS700 sloMo being a bit crappy.

Centre crop - yep it should be there and would be 3 lines of code! :(

I thought I remembered watching the video or images of the OLPF user swap and it was literally just a tiny metal frame with 4 screws in around the sensor - I could make that out of a paper clip!
