New Sony 12 Megapixel Fulll Frame global shutter sensor specs.?

If true, it sounds great. The 135 size and 4K. So the pixels would be two or three times as big as many other sensors. Plus, global shutter!

I'll try not to get too excited because this is unsubstantiated rumor. But such a design is my dream (and terribly obvious, manufacturers, honestly).

Digital Vistavision would be awesome! It's half the damn reason I invested in CP.2s. Digital Vistavision with a global shutter and a wide dynamic range? That's my next camera.

There is always something truly amazing at the horizon of the camera manufacturers... LOL

You can always lust for the ultimate camera coming soon or start shooting now with what you got.
I still shoot with my "old" FS100, which serves me very well. Some things are missing, but in the
end I know how to control it's quirks and that's the most important thing.

If the route is going 35mm aka FF you can prepare for by buying the appropriate lenses now and
use them via speedbooster.
But when I remember the VG900 - it's a camera I never want as is the A7s. They have some really
nice and amazing features. But most of the time I need a camera that just works.
If the sensor is 11, 12 or 14 stops - most of the scenes even don't need more than 8 stops anyway.

If you think sensor size matters that much - then you'll better wait (just think of the Alexa 65).
