New Site design

After FX Guru
Well I finally got around a few weeks ago to uploading the new version of my site that's been lurking on my drives for awhile. The galleries still have a lot to be added (tons of new work I haven't uploaded or listed), but i'll get to it soon.

Any comments, suggestions, harrassment, threats, etc is greatly appreciated. :D

Great, as usually, Kai. I'm liking the colors more than on v3 and layout is nice aswell.
Now that you posted that I'm not going to show my Flash crap I've been working on for the past few days ... not that it's not linked to in my sig

Looks good Kai. Only thing that sticks out is the background color for the top half of the site. I would try making it a little darker. At the moment it's a little hard to distinguish from the bottom. But maybe I'm getting old. :)

Isaac's definitely getting old.

Nice work, as always, Kai.
Looks nice.

EDITED TO ADD:
Oh crap, what am I going to do without my 'thumbsup' icon??

Overall, very nice. Very clean and easy to navigate. No annoying, "death by Flash". As TM mentioned, the QT's come up slow. Also, I don't like linking directly to flickr for your photos. It sort of takes you out of the site and into a discordant design. I'd rather see pop-up windows or better yet, a display window that always there (like the thumbs on the left and a full size image on the right). Nitpicking: The stage design should be one thumb with one full-size image that shows the before and after.

Your website is very well done, my man....

But what's even cooler is that your avatar has motion!!! That's awesome.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Yeah there's still quite a bit to do and polish, as you've all rightly pointed out. The QT's are pretty slow, I need to recompress to get the size down on them. Good point on the Flickr gallery. I just got lazy since they're coming into my site dynamically right now, I'll switch it up a bit ;)

Thanks!

Very clean and streamlined. No wonder it took you a while to re-do your site -- you've amassed such a huge portfolio of great work. Very impressive! No one can ever look at your stuff and say, "Oh those big companies only want to work with you if you live on one of the coasts." Kudos all around.
