New "Remove Advanced Pulldown" problem ???

Guys,

I'm usually on the other end of FCP problems... the one solving them, not having them. BUT:

My DV clips are freaking out lately. Yesterday, a clips audio was erased after Removing Advanced Pulldown. Today, FCP simply refuses to import a clip that had Pulldown Removed only minutes earlier.

1. An anamorphic 24PA clip plays fine at 29.97 in the viewer
2. Pulldown removal runs smoothly
3. New 23.98 clip unlinks itsself and does not import back into FCP from the Finder.

Is this a new bug? I've been on the DVCPRO-HD 'kick' for a while now, but I didn't expect to be this rusty with DV 24PA from the HVX200.

I trashed preferences as I have done in the past, but no luck.

Wow, so the files that FCP creates, FCP doesn't even recognize a minute later.

After opening the DV 23.98 files in Cinema Tools and Compresser, no luck in converting them to something FCP will recognize. The QuickTimes play fine in every app except FCP. Pretty L-A-M-E.

Makes me remember how much of a hassle DV24p is.
