New Red Eye FX wide angle adaptors

I was just wondering if anybody has used or seen the new Red Eye FX wide angle adaptors in action? I am very interested in buying either the .7x or .5x 72mm for my Canon XH-A1, but haven't found any screenshots etc.

I've read a couple of reviews online and they seem to be pretty well received, but has anyone actually had any practical experiences with them?
 
I am also extremly intersted in the .5x, but I am sitting on the fence because the website looks slightly unprofessional and there anrent any relevant reviews for the HDV .5x lens.
 
That's exactly where I am at the moment. I'm sure the product is fine, I did not hear any bad things about the original SD lens adaptors, but like you say, there's not much word on the new FX range for HD. I would imagine that there would be more distortion on the.5x then there would be on the .7x so the .7x might be the safer way to go - however, I don't see much point spending that amount on a .7x wide angle, it just doesn't seem too - well, WIDE I guess - particularly as the .5x only costs a little bit more.

Oh what to do what to do...
