I posed a Q asking if sequences could be combined and thankfully everyone was very helpful.
Now to the problem that prompted that question. I had a sequence (scene 26 in my film) on a timeline. Then added new footage (but made sure scene 26 was far away from the new material) and made a rough cut of scene 54 of my film. Then I realized scene 26 was gone. I panicked and hit Ctrl-Z to back up as far as I could to see if I could find where I mad my mistake... to no avail. The computer had auto saved (every 20 min) and I could only go back so far. I figured it was a loss and moved on. Then I noticed something. There is a off-blue color bar on my timeline that is just below (or actually apart of) the area where time is listed (where the CTI is, or just above). It looks to be the same length of the scene I 'lost'. What is this? Does anyone have any clue if this is my scene 26 nested in the timeline? I am still learning how to use Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0. I'll continue to check my book and the help section. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thx
