New project MUSIC VIDEO (ideas?)

I AM GOING TO TRY TO WHIP UP A LITTLE MUSIC VIDEO FOR THIS SONG:

So far I keep seeing a guy trying to build up the courage to write to a girl on a computer... really troubled about it... as if he hurt her feelings. The girl is sad, alone... so basically they broke up... had a fight of some sort.

I wondered if anyone might have some ideas for abstract visuals to go with this... close ups of things... water... hands... curtains in the wind... lol... can you tell I just get the text about doing this 10min ago? lol

I am a big G n' F n' R fan... so I want to do November Rain types stuff... only no band.


I will continue thinking about the story... I got that going, but if you can conjure up some abstract visuals please do suggest. :)


Oh, BTW, I am going to try to wrap up production by Sunday! lol
 
Also... using an HVX (most likely no lens adapter), what tricks should/could I use?

shoot some 250% slo-mo... I want a water shot... unless I can come up with something less gimmicky...
shot lots of 26fps... mostly for the girl, then some for the "hard" moments the guy is going through... (the rest will be 24)
try to walk out to open the iris and zoom as much as possible to max out the DoF...
do some intended outta focus shots...
have a dolly but not sure where I will use it yet... maybe as transitions, then some sloooow dolly for the guy at the computer to help it from feeling boring/tedious/dull/work... then some for the girl just for aesthetics

Anything else in-camera?
 
I am seeing her in her every day life... getting out of a car, going for some Starbuks... getting home... closing the door and feeling lonely (dolly back exposing a clean frame, just walls with a paining or something like that so it doesn't look like she just moved in).... then SHOWER SCENE!!!! lol... nah, j/k... but maybe some slight sexy innuendo stuff... earrings coming off... then staring at herself in the mirror... but something less gimmicky replacing it... there will allways be a phone in the frame... cellphone, house phone... or even a computer... means of communication

did I mention I am not trying to change the world with this project? :)
