right now Im using a gh5 and the 4k files are large and im editing on an old Z77 motherboard, one of main reasons I want to upgrade is because I want to use PCIe SSDS for those super fast speeds ect.
Specs:
Asus 24' 144hz 1ms HD monitor
z77 ds3h gigabyte motherboard
i7 3770k 4.2ghz
corsair 16gb ddr3 1600mhz
fractal design r4 case
cryorig hybrid cpu cooler a40
evga g2 750 watt psu supernova

gtx 980 ti gigabyte ------------------------( keeping for new build )
BenQ 32' 4k monitor ----------------------( keeping for new build )
the ports on that motherboards are not that great usb 3 is fastest on there.

thanks for any advice, ive already ordered a 1TB ssd for editing in premiere pro and a 1TB ext drive for all my old files I wont be using. I think I can get about $600 for those parts above (Current Setup) and end up spending $900-1000 for the new parts.
