New person with camera questions

Hi All

I am a new member. I manage a video and digital photo lab in the art department of a university. I joined because we are currently looking into upgrading our current VX2100s and PD170s to something HD and I wanted to get some advice from all you knowledgeable folks.

I'm guessing this isn't the sub forum to do that so I'll ask elsewhere, but just wanted t introduce myself.
 
Welcome nmurthy. Lots of knowledge here, start poking around! You may want to look at the AC160 subform for a more recent camera that is similar to your PD170s.
